If you’re looking to feast your ears on some good, fun and collaborative music in the Fargo-Moorhead area, look no further than “The Lars & Joe Pony Show.”
Lars Hegland (Tripwire) and Joe Dretsch (Redline) have brought their difference in musical stylings together, to ensure variety in the form of acoustic goodness. With Joe focused on his country-tuned vocals and Lars on his rock/pop refrains, the two may seem like oil and water. But on the contrary, the two work with each other on many styles unlike their own. From Weezer to Johnny Cash; Rock to Rap; Country to Pop; Conformity to Chaos, The Pony Show aims to please, with a framework aimed at interacting with patrons of whatever establishment they set foot in.
Lars & Joe are more than just two guys on stage belting out the latest hits and one-hit wonders, however. Catching one of their shows could also expose you to more-on stage collaborations with other F-M musicians, often conspiring with other members of local harnesses to assure diversity and uniqueness in musical genres.
The Lars & Joe Pony show is a clever rhyme, for a good time.
